Level 1, I-CBT Certification for Providers and Clinical Master’s Students “Certified Behaviorist (C, I-CBT)”

Minimal of Master’s Degree in a license eligible program that applies to the individual’s state where he/she intends to practice or proof of upcoming graduation from University or College Master’s program as a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist or Social Worker or PhD. in Psychology or any of the above disciplines. The aforementioned also applies to Medical Doctors (M.D.), APRNs, RNs. Note: all individuals applying for I-CBT certification must show proof that he/she is either licensed or enrolled in a license eligible Masters, PhD. or Medical program or are eligible for license  in the state that he/she intends to practice in. 
7 Week Behavioral Training Workshop (covers workbook sections 1-9)
Written Certification Exam.

Level 2, I-CBT Certification for Providers: “Certified Senior Behaviorist (CSB, I-CBT)”

Minimal of Master Degree 100 hours 1 one 1 I-CBT therapy as a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist or Social Worker or PhD. in Psychology or the above disciplines. Medical Doctor (M.D.), APRN, RN.
BPT Workshop II (Covers workbook sections 10, 10A, and 11)
3 sections of BT workbook taught to a D-I-CBT Behaviorist.
2 verbal presentations of area of clinical interest taught in a clinical setting to peers.
Level II written Certification Exam
Level II Verbal Certification Exam (Clinician must demonstrate competency in I-CBT principals and workbook sections 1-11.

Level 3 Certification: “Diplomat Behaviorist (D, I-CBT)”

Minimum of a Master Degree as a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist or Social Worker or PhD. in Psychology or the above disciplines. Medical Doctor (M.D.), APRN, RN.
Proof of current and valid licensure in any of the above disciplines.
1000 hours I-CBT therapy.
Apprenticeship of BT workshops 1-7 (sections 1-9) for 1 term.
2 community based presentations geared to educating public on psychological issues.
4 verbal presentations of area of clinical interest taught in a clinical setting to peers (in addition to the 2 required for Level 2 certification).
Level 3 Certification Exam.
Case Study documented and orally presented to peers.


I-CBT Certification Credentialing Process for Professionals

Show proof that individual is enrolled in an Associates (AS), or Bachelors (BA, BS) program. Child care professionals must show proof that he/she is employed at a reputable institution and/or he/she possesses state license in child care.
7 Week Behavioral Training Workshop (covers workbook sections 1-9)
Written Examination.

Certified Bachelors or Master’s level Educator in I-CBT (CE, I-CBT)

Masters level Teachers and School Administrators applying for I-CBT certification must prove that they are employed at a public or private institution and are certified in teaching or will be eligible for state teaching certification in the state they are teaching in or intend to teach in, once they have completed their Master’s degree. Note exceptions will made for Teachers who possess a Bachelor’s degree but no Master’s degree, providing they are either enrolled in a Master’s teaching program geared for obtaining certification or can provide written documentation from their supervisor at their school or institution stating that they are required to attend a Master’s program in the future in order to obtain teacher certification in the state they are teaching in.
7 Week Behavioral Training Workshop (covers workbook sections 1-9)
Written Certification Exam.

We are seeking Psychiatrists or APRNs who would like to lease space (with any flexibility of time) at our center to help or patient's and area provider's patients. If you are a licensed Mental Health professional who is passionate about helping people and providing Evidenced Based Treatment with a highly structured form of therapy, then you may be the right person to join our team of Mental Health Professionals. NECBT has PT openings available for licensed Psychologists, MFTs, LCSWs, PsyDs, MA/MS LPCs.     Ideal candidates must have: 5+ years in a clinical Mental Health setting, knowledge and experience with CBT, and the ability to communicate clearly, write effectively, stay organized, participate in all patient care meetings and be team orientated.


Child and Family Specialist: PhD, PsyD, MSW, MFT

General TREATMENT for Child, Teen, Adults. Clinicians will be responsible for: accurate and timely diagnosis, treatment planning, accurate patient records, team meetings, writing contributions, and providing ICBT treatment
for individuals, families, and groups. Evenings required.
